AP/AR Accounting Professional (Remote)

MUST HAVE QUICKBOOKS ONLINE EXPERIENCE Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely billing and payment processing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), and be comfortable working across platforms including Rev.io and Bill.com.. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable (AR): • Generate and send invoices daily using Rev.io • Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and follow up on outstanding balances • Reconcile AR transactions and maintain accurate records Accounts Payable (AP): • Process vendor bills and payments through Bill.com • Ensure timely and accurate payment scheduling • Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies General Accounting Support: • Maintain financial data integrity in QuickBooks Online • Assist with month-end close and reconciliations • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations Required Qualifications: • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) • Familiarity with Rev.io and Bill.com (or ability to quickly learn) • Strong understanding of AP/AR workflows and best practices • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in telecom, SaaS, or subscription-based billing environments • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Company DescriptionPROTEK Consulting is a Woman-Owned Small Business led by an experienced team of industry veterans.
