Accountant - Entry Level

DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Park Ridge, New Jersey. This is a contract to permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for growth and hands-on experience in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of business concepts and be eager to develop their skills in a focused and organized environment.Responsibilities:• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice reviews and payment scheduling.• Print and prepare checks for vendor payments and other financial transactions.• Assist in preparing balance sheet reports and maintaining proper documentation.• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.• Participate in training sessions for new software tools and systems as needed. Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance field.• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles.• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.• Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software, including Acumatica.• Effective communication skills for team collaboration.• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Previous internship or academic experience in accounting is a plus but not required.
