Position Summary The Payroll Specialist will utilize the payroll system software to compile all aspects of the clients worksite employees payroll data, including reconciliation and preparation of payroll reports and forms. This individual will be responsible for processing complex and high-volume payrolls accurately and efficiently while considering multi-state laws within client locations. The Payroll Specialist will provide timely and effective resolution to client requests as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the administration and compliance of tasks related to payroll. Processes high volume complex payrolls accurately and in accordance with PEO guidelines. Accurately enters and maintains employee related information in the payroll system. Applies multi-state payroll laws per client location. Maintains knowledge of Congruitys payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Provides timely and effective client and worksite employee issue resolution. Audits all aspects of payroll, benefits, and employee data to ensure accuracy. Sets up payroll deductions as dictated by client and state/federal laws. Compile and deliver reports as requested by clients. Perform other duties as assigned including special projects. Job Requirements and Qualifications: Education: High school diploma Experience: 2-3 years of payroll processing experience, Experience with iSolved HCM, Experience applying compliance with multi state payroll laws, overtime rules, and government regulations relative to payroll processing, PEO experience is a plus. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Understanding of integrated HRIS and payroll software. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent administrative skills, interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication, and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of work. Quality correspondence and oral communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a high volume, fast paced environment. Good math and accounting aptitude.
