Job Summary:
Microsoft is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Virtual Chat Assistants to join our remote support team. As a Virtual Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through live chat support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide real-time assistance to customers via chat, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions.
Understand and effectively communicate Microsofts products, services, and policies.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering timely and accurate responses.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate support team or department.
Document and log all interactions and resolutions… accurately in the system.
Continuously update knowledge of Microsoft products and services to provide informed assistance.
Manage multiple chat sessions simultaneously while maintaining quality.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on product changes and enhancements.
Assist with additional support tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelors degree preferred.
Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a chat support role.
Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of English.
Proficient in using chat platforms and customer support tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic technical knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft products and services.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Familiarity with remote work tools and practices.
