Position: SWIFT Infrastructure Support Location: Plano, TX, US //Reston, VA, US (Hybrid) Must-haves -2 years of experience in engineering Linux and Unix Systems -Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing specifically migrating on-premise infrastructure to cloud environment -Experience in other middleware / messaging products such as IBM MQ, SQS/SNS Develop moderately complex solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components. Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms. Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions. Qualifications 2 years of experience in engineering Linux and Unix Systems Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing specifically migrating on-premise infrastructure to cloud environment Experience in other middleware / messaging products such as IBM MQ, SQS/SNS Desired Experiences Bachelor degree or equivalent Experience in engineering SWIFT technologies and infrastructure Experience in Python Exposure to working in agile framework Experience using SharePoint, Confluence REST API development experience Skills Skilled in supporting SWIFT products (Alliance Cloud, Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, Alliance Web Platform) and related components (HSM, Alliance Connect) Strong understanding of agile methodologies Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages Tools Skilled in SWIFT products and services Skilled in using UNIX Skilled in SQL Skilled in Excel Experience using APIs for developing or programming software Skilled in XML Skilled in using REST API Experience in Python object-oriented programming Experience using JIRA Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
