Staff Accountant (Remote) Job at Arkansas Talent Group in Little Rock

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description Arkansas Talent Group is working with a Private Equity backed Practice Group in the Healthcare sector to help them find a Staff Accountant for their organization. Staff Accountant can essentially be 100% remote after training, but still needs to sit in the Central Arkansas area for some in-office meetings. This is a newly created position due to the company's growth and will report directly to an Accounting Manager. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence within the accounting function. This is a fast paced high-growth industry, backed by PE, and they have more than tripled over the last few years. We are looking for candidates local to Central Arkansas at this time. Key Responsibilities • Accurately record financial transactions using appropriate codes • Oversee reconciliation of banking and credit card activity • Support accounts payable tasks and help coordinate vendor relations • Enter daily revenue figures and manage accounts receivable duties • Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities • Post daily sales journal entries and manage A/R process • Provide administrative assistance to the accounting department when necessary • Assist team with complex balance sheet and bank reconciliation • Assist team with other financial reporting packages and special projects Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree highly preferred, or in the process • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience • QuickBooks Online Experience highly preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • High attention to detail Perks: • Competitive salary and benefits package • Professional growth and development opportunities • Exposure to diverse accounting responsibilities across multiple businesses • Collaborative and supportive team culture • Ability to work in a high growth organization-100M+ in revenue • 3 weeks PTO • Remote with some in-office meetings in Little Rock-only central Arkansas candidates at this time • Flexible hours and work life/balance For more information, please apply directly or reach out to Stephanie Shine or Chris Chunn via LinkedIn.
