Job Duties Maintains and repair all FEC facilities and facilities related equipment; maintains all pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing and mechanical systems in accordance with established FedEx maintenance procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High school diploma/GED. Minimum Experience Four (4) years experience, of which 24 months as a FedEx technician (general), or 24 months of maintenance experience on similar equipment/systems, in a commercial/industrial maintenance environment with background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and mechanical systems maintenance with heavy emphasis on properties and facilities maintenance. Demonstrated proficiency in areas of facilities maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, general and related skills. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must possess good working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment and procedures. Valid driver’s license required. Good interpersonal and oral communications skills. Job Conditions Must be willing to work odd work week, overtime, holidays and rotating shifts. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy facilities related components, parts and equipment with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Ability to access equipment by crawling, laying, standing and/or climbing at all heights both above and below ground.
