Sr. Tax Accountant Senior Tax Accountant Location: 77099 Working Hours: M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Reports To: CEO Pay: Open Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Senior Tax Accountant, you will ensure tax compliance, prepare filings, and assist in developing tax strategies. You?ll work closely with management and other departments to assess tax implications of business decisions. Key Responsibilities: • CPA Required • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns. • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. • Assist in financial statement preparation and ensure accuracy. • Develop tax-efficient strategies to minimize liabilities. • Maintain tax-related documentation for audits. • Conduct tax research and provide recommendations. • Collaborate with finance, legal, and other departments on tax-related matters. Qualifications: • Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • CPA or EA required. • Proven experience as a Tax Accountant. • Strong knowledge of tax laws and compliance. • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently. • Must pass a nationwide background check and drug screen.
