SAP S4 MM/SD Functional Consultant - Ryantech

Title: SAP S4 MM/SD Functional Consultant Location: Remote Duration: 6 months (strong potential to extend) Start Date: ASAP Only W2 role - No C2C / 3rd Party candidates About the Role We are seeking a SAP MM/SD Functional Consultant to support Pharamcy Client, a major ECC-to-S/4HANA RISE transformation within the retail sector. This project is in the build phase, requiring strong hands-on functional expertise to complement a well-established technical/ABAP team. This is a critical functional role (not leadership) , focused on solution design, specifications, and migration activities. You will partner closely with ABAP developers, functional leads, and finance stakeholders to drive delivery. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop and maintain functional specifications for MM and SD modules in S/4HANA. Collaborate with offshore ABAP developers to ensure accurate system builds. Contribute to solution design workshops and translate business needs into SAP solutions. Partner with finance/accounting stakeholders to align SAP solutions with business processes. Support integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and knowledge transfer . Assist in ECC-to-S/4HANA migration activities as needed. Must-Have Qualifications Strong SAP MM & SD functional expertise (configuration, documentation, solutioning). Hands-on experience in S/4HANA environments (greenfield, brownfield, or RISE). Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes in SAP. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a collaborative team. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with S/4HANA Retail . Exposure to SAP Fiori, ABAP debugging , or third-party integrations. Prior involvement in RISE with SAP implementations or ECC-to-S/4 migrations. SAP certifications (MM, SD, or S/4HANA).
