Remote Part Time Tax Preparer - CPA Required (Texas Residents Only)

An established Austin, Texas based CPA firm is seeking a Remote Permanent Part Time Tax Preparer to join our team. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a CPA license and tax and accounting experience to assist with preparation of individual and corporate tax returns. Compensation commensurate with level of experience. • Competitive Rate ($45-$50/hour) • Flexible Part Time hours (20-30 per week during peak season, 10-20 during off peak) • Working from home • Training provided on Intuit Pro-Connect Tax Software Responsibilities Prepare Individual, S-Corp, C-Corp and Partnership tax returns and other projects as assigned and correspond with clients regarding tax documentation. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business • CPA License Required • 1-2 years of tax preparation experience preferred, but not necessary • Must timely complete accurate tax returns with little supervision • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently • Strong organizational and project management skills • Strong computer skills and detail oriented • Intuit Pro-Connect or Lacerte Experience a plus • Experience with Excel and QuickBooks Online preferred • Excellent oral and written communication skills (Gmail experience preferred) • Ability to correspond with clients in a friendly, courteous, & professional manner • Candidate remote location must be in Texas.
