FUND ACCOUNTING EXPERT || FULL TIME JOB || REMOTE • *Responsibilities:** • Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of alternative investment funds, including private equity, hedge funds, and real estate funds. • Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and other regulatory filings in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards. • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. • Analyze fund performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management. • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and control. • Assist in the valuation of fund assets and the calculation of net asset value (NAV). • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in alternative investment fund accounting. • *Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CFA designation preferred. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fund accounting, with a focus on alternative investments. • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards. • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
