Key Responsibilities • Oversee and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure alignment with the organization's objectives. • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency. • Supervise accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing. • Monitor cash flow and maintain robust relationships with banking partners. • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements. • Conduct regular financial analyses to support strategic planning and decision-making efforts. • Lead the annual audit process by collaborating with external auditors and organizing necessary documentation. • Work closely with program directors to align financial resources with the goals of various programs. • Provide training and support to staff on financial policies and procedures, fostering a culture of financial literacy. Required Skills • Profound understanding of non-profit financial management practices, including grant accounting and compliance. • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail. • Proficiency in financial software and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork. • A genuine passion for the non-profit mission and a commitment to maintaining fiscal integrity. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or CPA is preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, including at least 2 years in a managerial position, preferably within the non-profit sector.
