Production Manager - Night Shift

About the position Responsibilities • Direct activities of production including raw material receipt, manufacturing, production scheduling, and shipping. • Monitor performance of manufacturing employees and equipment to ensure production meets or exceeds schedules while minimizing waste. • Develop weekly, monthly, and annual manufacturing plans and communicate them to subordinates and peers. • Lead safety initiatives targeting zero recordable injuries and ensure compliance with safety procedures. • Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure product quality meets requirements and follow up on inspections and audits. • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements in manufacturing areas. • Develop and implement Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures and train employees accordingly. • Work with management to ensure roles are organized and communicated effectively. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree or related field experience. • Five plus years of related experience in manufacturing and food industry. • Strong working knowledge of food manufacturing processes. Nice-to-haves • Beverage and/or aseptic experience. • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, TPM, or Six Sigma. • Experience with Ceridian software. Apply tot his job
