About the position Responsibilities • Responsible for the daily maintaining of an accurate schedule book for surgical procedures. • Schedules non-surgical procedures for anesthesia. • Functions as receptionist. • Maintains current surgical procedure log. • Assists with clerical duties as requested. • Collaborates with assistant director for accurate posting of surgical procedures. Requirements • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred. • Strong organizational skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-haves • Previous scheduling experience in a medical environment. • Familiarity with medical terminology.
