Manager, Federal Income Tax

Description: • Leads team in developing project workplans and scheduling associated project deliverables • Acts as a mentor, guiding team members on their career paths • Builds strong relationships with clients through quality work • Prepares tax interest computations and explains computations to clients • Assists with client billing and financial forecasting • Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities • Maintains a professional and positive attitude at all times • Manages income tax projects, especially in the complex interest area • Works effectively in a complex, deadline-driven environment • Handles tasks in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy • Safeguards confidential information and sensitive material • Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: • Accounting undergraduate and/or Masters in Tax • 7+ years of experience in the area of interest • 5+ years of experience working directly on IRS interest computations • Experience with tax computation is preferred • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research • Experience with DMI software is preferred • Valid driver’s license required Benefits: • Hybrid and remote work options • Award-winning culture • Generous personal time off (PTO) benefits • 14 weeks of 100% paid leave for new parents (adoption included) • Monthly gym membership reimbursement OR gym equipment reimbursement • Benefits eligibility effective day one • 401K with employer match • Tuition reimbursement after one year of service • Fertility assistance program • Four-week company-paid sabbatical eligibility after five years of service Apply Job!
