Job Description NYU Langone Health is actively hiring for Mammography Technologists for our campuses in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. Job Overview: This position is responsible for performing medically prescribed diagnostic mammographic and bone density procedures, is responsible for patient safety protocols and functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their mammogram. Works under general direction. Minimum Qualifications: • Technical Diploma from accredited School of Radiologic Technology • New York State license • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) • Advance Certification in Mammography Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
