In just three years, Whizz has grown rapidly, managing a fleet of 4,000 e-bikes across the US, achieving a remarkable 100% year-over-year growth rate. Our mission is to serve an underserved audience of gig workers, aiming to manage the largest electric two-wheeler fleet in the US. Our dynamic team of 150 people is expanding quickly. Mission of the Role The Head of Finance will establish and lead a finance department that underpins the company’s rapid growth with operational excellence and strategic financial management. Key Responsibilities Build Reliable Financial Processes: Develop and implement effective, transparent, and reliable financial processes, including day-to-day operations, accounting, internal/external reporting, budgeting, and analytics. Develop Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Create and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts to support the planning of new products, geographical expansion, and strategic hypotheses. Improve Budgeting and Cash Flow Management: Ensure cost-efficiency and financial control, enhance transparency, and maintain precision in daily spending while supporting the Company's active growth. Requirements Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a high-growth startup in the US. Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations in the US. Ability to build and lead a high-performing finance team on a day-to-day basis. Readiness to work in a high-growth startup, which means the ability to build processes from scratch, not just maintain existing ones Russian speaker with excellent English required.
