About the position Accela is seeking a strategic Director, Talent Management & HR Business Partners to lead talent management and employee engagement initiatives aimed at fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture. This critical leadership role will oversee key functions such as performance management, employee engagement, talent assessment, and succession planning, ensuring alignment with Accela's mission and values. The position is remote-first, emphasizing flexibility and work-life balance, while also requiring occasional travel for in-person collaboration. Responsibilities • Establish talent philosophy, principles, and policies for global talent management solutions. , • Lead the design and implementation of talent and performance management strategies. , • Manage a team of HR Business Partners to align people and company strategy. , • Design and lead global performance management processes to enhance accountability. , • Establish and lead succession planning and talent review processes. , • Manage leadership 360 and coaching engagements for high-potential leaders. , • Evolve talent programs to align with Accela's values and foster a high-performing culture. , • Lead non-technical learning and development efforts in line with organizational strategy. , • Drive performance and results using data-driven frameworks. , • Lead change management initiatives to support cultural transformation. , • Provide consultative engagement to the VP, HR and business leaders. , • Analyze complex talent and organizational performance issues and develop solutions. Requirements • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in talent management programs. , • 5+ years HRBP experience focusing on employee and leadership development. , • Experience with HR data and analytics to derive insights. , • Knowledge of current trends in talent management and employee engagement. Nice-to-haves • Experience with Lattice technology for talent management processes. , • Experience curating LinkedIn Learning content for internal development programs.
