We are dedicated to providing our clients with an extraordinary experience and timely and accurate financial statements. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and reliable contracted bookkeeper to join our team. • *Job Description:** As a contracted bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely reporting. You will work independently on your assigned workload with access to management whenever you need it. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable - Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records - Prepare monthly financial statements and reports - Assist in some projects - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards - Communicate effectively with management about your needs, time and deliverables • *Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage 100, Sage Intacct, Foundation) and MS Excel - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, accrual and cash basis accounting - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities - Efficient with time and meeting deadlines • *Preferred Qualifications:** - A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Experience with bookkeeping in industries such as Construction, Retail and/or Manufacturing • *What We Offer:** - Competitive compensation for your hours - Flexible working hours - Opportunity to work with a passionate team - Potential for long-term collaboration If you’re a motivated bookkeeper looking to contribute to a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you!
