Automotive Parts Shipping and Receiving - Entry Level

About the position Responsibilities • Determine the least expensive and most efficient method of shipping • Prepare shipping documents • Assemble containers and crates, pack parts to be shipped, and attach packing slips • Direct delivery trucks and help drivers unload parts • Inspect and count items that are received, ensuring accuracy • Record shipped and received goods in logbooks • Unpack received parts into appropriate storage areas • Trace lost shipments as needed • Fill out Manufacturers forms for damaged and returned items and route them correctly • Call customers and carriers to coordinate pick-up and delivery, and have inventory items inspected • Process warranty returns and warranty scrap • Analyze and update Hold Shelf • Work within DMS (dealer management system) to ensure replenishment process is current • Maintain safe working conditions and keep dock and related areas clean • May be required to operate pallet jack and related stockroom machinery • Other duties as needed Requirements • Basic to intermediate computer skills Nice-to-haves • Good organizational skills • Ability to multi-task and prioritize • Courteous and helpful attitude • Ability to work well with others • Ability to operate under pressure Benefits • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Apply tot his job
