Audit Associate - Miami, FL

Your Role: Key responsibilities include: • Assisting in areas of Audits, Reviews, Compilations, and Accounting Services. • Working on a variety of client deliverables and preparing work papers. • Resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients. • Understanding clients’ accounting systems. • Applying concepts of materiality and audit risk. • Preparing informative, well-documented, cross-referenced work papers that are easily understood and explained. • Collaborating closely with a team of Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. • Serving clients across industries such as Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (varies by office). About You: The ideal candidate will have: • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting. • Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2024 - September 2025 to be CPA licensed. • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in both major and overall. • Leadership positions in extracurricular activities preferred. • Prior work or internship experience (accounting experience is a plus). • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-based culture. • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment. • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Proof of work authorization such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status.
