Advanced QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper

We are a real estate investment and management company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QuickBooks Online expert to manage accounting across multiple legal entities and investment classes. This is a project-based or part-time ongoing role for someone who understands the complexities of intercompany accounting, real estate structures, and year-end adjustments — all within QuickBooks Online Advanced. Scope of Work: •Record and manage intercompany loans, both receivables and payables • Compute and enter interest accruals based on the Applicable Federal Rate (AFR) • Input CPA-provided year-end adjusting journal entries • Match QuickBooks balances to filed tax returns, by entity and class • Prepare monthly financial reports using Classes (for projects/investments) • Perform complete month-end close process for multiple entities • Maintain clean, audit-ready records ________________________________________ ❌ You will NOT be responsible for: • Bill entry or vendor payments • Payroll or tenant/property management • Credit card transaction posting ________________________________________ Requirements: • QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification (Level 2) or equivalent real-world experience • Strong knowledge of real estate or investment accounting • Fluent in managing Classes and multi-entity chart of accounts • CPA-level understanding of adjusting entries and reconciliations • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently ________________________________________ Details: • Remote / flexible schedule • Paid hourly or fixed price per scope • Potential for ongoing monthly work ________________________________________ To apply, please: • Share your resume or Upwork profile • Describe your experience with QuickBooks Online for real estate or investment entities • Confirm your QBO Advanced Certification or equivalent experience Looking forward to working with someone who thrives in complex, high-level accounting environments!
