Accountant - Remote | WFH

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Accountant. In this role, you will be integral to our financial operations, responsible for various accounting functions such as accounts receivable, cash application, account reconciliation, and participation in general accounting projects. Your contribution will ensure the accuracy of our financial... records, supporting the overall financial health of our organization. Responsibilities ? Efficiently process customer payments through lockbox, credit card payments, and online portals. ? Manage remote deposits, posting them accurately to customer accounts. ? Facilitate smooth transactions between Fromm customers and vendors, ensuring precise order tracking and effective communication with internal staff to resolve any billing issues. ? Provide support during annual audits and reviews. ? Play a key role in the month-end process, handling manual journal entries, trial balance reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. ? Prepare and distribute annual 1099 forms. ? Conduct monthly or quarterly sales tax filings, adhering to state regulations. ? Demonstrate adaptability to changes and complete additional assigned tasks as needed. Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. ? Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. ? Thorough understanding of and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles. ? Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. ? Proficient in reconciliation and adept at problem-solving. ? Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. ? High proficiency in accounting software with the ability to quickly learn new systems. ? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel. Physical Requirements ?
